20. No Way Out Of Texas (1998)
The WWF roster wasn't exactly primo in early-1998, and the wedging of most of their interesting workers into two matches (an eight-man main event, and a ten-man midcard match) left a dead zone throughout the remainder of the card. The Godwinns and the Quebecers getting an eleven-minute match sits as evidence of a roster thinner than angel hair. RECOMMENDED MATCH: Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus Jack, and Chainsaw Charlie vs. Triple H, Savio Vega, and The New Age Outlaws. Vega filled in for injured WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, whose back was catastrophically wrecked. The match itself is a pretty wild ECW-style brawl that does the trick of giving Austin another emphatic win en route to his WrestleMania championship coronation.
