'The Eater Of Worlds' was given a last supper by WWE in 2017 when they acknowledged the success of the Randy Orton/Wyatt Family angle by giving Bray the top strap a month before WrestleMania 33.

Whilst his last remaining fans pretended it was an overdue acknowledgement, the reality was only too apparent when he lost the belt in a catastrophic 'Show of Shows' clash. The creepy-crawlies projected on the canvas were rather appropriate - Wyatt was buried lower than dirt as a result of his time with the title.
