The Deadman and The Beast went to hell and back (twice!), but which of their battles were best?

The Undertaker's storied career saw 'The Phenom' challenged by an abundance of WWE superstars over the 30 years that he dominated the squared circle. From imposing giants to skillful high-flyers; they've all tried to make a name for themselves at 'The Deadman's expense. And one of his very best rivals - a man who did just that - was undoubtedly 'The Beast Incarnate' himself, Brock Lesnar.

Historically, 'The Demon of Death Valley' tended to work better with much smaller guys (something that he admitted himself on WWE Network's The Last Ride docuseries), so what was it about his feud with the big bruiser Lesnar that was so darn captivating?

Was it the fact that 'The Beast' conquered The Streak? That certainly plays into it, but the truth is that these two thrilled us all with their battles long before - and after - WrestleMania XXX. There was a symmetry to their story as 'Taker was responsible for catapulting Lesnar to legendary status in the early days of his career while 'The Conqueror' found a way to revive 'The Deadman' in the final years of his.

From Streak-ending infamy to bloody battles inside a cell (two to be exact), these two monsters have torn each other apart on six different occasions throughout their career, but which of those encounters were worthy of their star-power (and which ones fell a little short)?

There are moments in WWE history so unforgettable that, at some point or another, they take on a life of their own. Sometimes, however, the resounding bang made by such moments overwhelms the moment in question, allowing us to form something of a rose-tinted memory of it.

The Streak-ending showdown between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of those moments. It changed the course of WWE history forever, made for an absolutely unforgettable moment and created an immortal debate in terms of whether it should have actually happened or not. What is often overlooked, however, is the fact that the match preceding this moment was a complete and utter trainwreck.

Instead of just letting these two bitter rivals tear each other apart, 'Taker had to use his annual five-star Phenom persona to try and drag a classic out of Lesnar (an approach that was never going to work) and this went out the window as soon he got that infamous concussion.

A 30-minute slog, there was no evidence of the pair's in-ring chemistry from 12 years prior and it wrongly made so many of us think that they had lost their mojo. Thankfully, they'd get the chance to change that the following year.
