Ranking Every 2018 WWE PPV From Worst To Best
6. SummerSlam
Like most of the pay-per-views on our list, SummerSlam had its issues, with Bella oversaturation marring Ronda Rousey's Raw Women's Title win and Roman Reigns somehow emerging from a six-minute win over Brock Lesnar looking like a straight-up b*tch. That the show weighed in at about 15 hours long didn't help, either.
But when SummerSlam was good, it was really good. We'll get to its biggest talking point in a moment, but the first few hours were crammed with great action, as Charlotte Flair shoehorned her way into Becky Lynch's Women's Title shot, the returning Dean Ambrose joined Seth Rollins in his war with Dolph Ziggler, and Daniel Bryan and The Miz finally did battle in a suitable spotlight.
It was also the night 'The Man' was born. That alone ensured SummerSlam finished as a net positive.
Best Moment: Becky Lynch snaps on Charlotte Flair, kickstarting the awesome antihero run that immediately turned her into WWE's most compelling personality, most organic star, and most must-see performer.
Worst Moment: Roman Reigns' grand coronation was about Brock Lesnar screwing up by getting distracted by Braun Strowman, not 'The Big Dog's' long-expected triumph.
