Ranking Every AEW Championship Reign Of 2023

11. The House Of Black - AEW World Trios Championship

Ever want something and then, when you get it, feel ultimately let down?

The House of Black were ready-made for the Trios championships, as one of the most effortlessly engrossing heel stables in all of the company. Their presentation alone made them feel like a big deal, and seeing them with belts should've been next level.

And to a certain degree it was but... then what? The team but on some entertaining matches, but there wasn't really anything deeper to get invested in.

Whatever you think of supernatural characters or plot lines in wrestling, this is a team that could've benefitted from more stories. Black, King and Murphy should've been kings on the throne of the Trios division, mocking and thwarting challengers that they deemed worthy.

Instead, their reign - even though it was a hefty 175 days - is surprisingly forgettable.
