Judgment Day 2002 marked the final chapter in Triple H and Chris Jericho’s feud that had started out in that year’s WrestleMania build. And fittingly, they saved their best performance for last.

A weapon-laden affair saw the use of a ladder—something of a rarity for Hell in a Cell bouts—as well as a chair, steel steps and a sledgehammer, before the action spilled to the outside and Jericho took a DDT through the announce table.

Still not content with their path of destruction, the pair would then make their way to the top of the Cell, where a barbed wire bat became the latest toy to be brought into play. Though likely gimmicked, the bat still appeared to get tangled in Jericho’s hair as Triple H battered him across the noggin, adding a nice degree of realism.

A daring back body drop onto the Cell roof was still to come, before a Pedigree to Jericho earned Triple H the win—a moment made all the more emphatic by a cool undershot camera angle, making for a nifty concluding visual.
