Deonna Purrazzo officially signed with Impact Wrestling in 2020 after some appearances early on in her career years ago. Only being in Impact for half of the year, 'The Virtuosa' was able to establish her moniker of being the greatest women's technical wrestler by instead showing herself to be arguably the greatest women's wrestler full stop. She had such a noteworthy year post-WWE.

She won the Knockouts Championship from Jordynne Grace in just her third official match for Impact, a match that really should have been the Match of the Year, while an Iron Man Match between the pair in August saw Deonna become Impact's inaugural Iron Woman. Her future bouts with Su Yung also proved to be excellent, with Purrazzo becoming a two-time champion after trading the title with 'The Undead Bride'.

In the year-end awards, Deonna triumphed over everyone, as she became not only the Knockout of the Year, but also Wrestler of the Year. The awards had nothing to do with her victory here, though; after the year she's had, Deonna simply had to be Impact Wrestling's greatest performer of 2020.
