Ranking The Very Worst WWE Pay-Per-View Every Year 1990 - 2020
9. 2012 - No Way Out
The last ever No Way Out (as of writing) was moved from its familiar spot in February to June to fill the gap left by the prior year's Capitol Punishment show, but felt just as redundant even with a longer-tenured title.
WWE was so crushingly ordinary at the time, and christ did this card highlight that. Matches between Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler, Christian and Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara and Hunico and especially the main event pitting The Big Show against John Cena could take place today and feel no different. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Kane had a passable WWE Championship match, but the singles bouts without Kane were predictably so much better.
