A putrid response to the post-Montreal Screwjob heat saw a themed pay-per-view proffer a slew of matches that probably had Eric Bischoff thinking the war was won.

An atrocious match between Triple H and Sgt Slaughter was one of several low points, along with a Shawn Michaels/Ken Shamrock main event that never really got going before the cheapest of cheap finishes. Steve Austin shook the world and his own van's windshield battering the Nation Of Domination, but he was a desert rose landscape that looked and felt barren.
