Rapper Drake made a surprise appearance at WWE’s Elimination Chamber on Saturday, though the company made him one of the few celebrities in attendance that they didn't highlight.

The Toronto native was positioned front row behind Wade Barrett, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee, eventually played up to the cameras as they filmed the announcers in deep discussion, and was spotted and photographed by plenty of people in the crowd. Yet, WWE elected not to feature him when profiling the others in attendance.

Eventually, it was Logan Paul that acknowledged him, albeit in an informal capacity. While waiting to enter the ring inside his Elimination Chamber pod, Paul grabbed a marker, wrote “OVO” (Drake's record label) on the glass, and pointed toward the rapper's direction. He appeared to appreciate the main shoutout. Paul was ultimately unsuccessful in the Chamber, being taken out third by CM Punk in a measure of revenge for 'Maverick' eliminating him at January's Royal Rumble.

The star-studded event made a point of noting that rapper NAV and actors Andrew Phung, Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell were all in the crowd, and the red carpet was rolled out for Travis Scott, who - as well as providing the theme for WrestleMania 41 - played an unexpectedly enormous role in the seismic show-closing angle featuring Cody Rhodes, The Rock and John Cena.
