New Impact Wrestling star Luke Gallows has spoken out on the chain of events that led to him and Good Brothers tag partner Karl Anderson signing with the promotion, claiming that their prior association with Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore helped bring them back into the fold.

Speaking to the WrestleTalk In The D podcast, Gallows noted that D'Amore helped him get into NJPW after leaving the former TNA in 2013, calling the Impact exec a "good friend." D'Amore and his team made the Good Brothers what Gallows called a "very nice offer that had an unlimited schedule." The most important thing to 'Big LG,' however, was that "Impact were fully on board with co-promoting our brand," Talk'n Shop, which has already been referenced several times on television.

Gallows added that "there wasn't a lot of room for that type of promotion in WWE." Impact, on the other hand, are happy to do it.

There's no word on whether or not the Good Brothers will be allowed to work New Japan as part of their Impact deals, as was rumoured prior to the duo's signing, though it sounds like they are happy with their decision.
