Real Reason Penta El Zero M Hasn't Been On AEW Dynamite Lately

Death Triangle's Penta El Zero M is currently off AEW Dynamite, leaving PAC and Rey Fenix alone...

Penta El Zero M has been absent from the last couple of AEW Dynamite shows, with the company believed to have recruited a ringer dressed like the terrifying skeleton ninja for a recent backstage beatdown segment involving Kenny Omega, Don Callis, and The Good Brothers.

Rather than setting up Omega and the Brothers vs. Penta's Death Triangle stable, it resulted in Omega, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows vs. Rey Fenix, PAC, and Jon Moxley being booked for next week's Beach Break show.

Why? Because Penta is currently sidelined with a visa issue.

This is according to Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He clarifies that while Penta was injured for a period of time in 2020, he has since made a full recovery and is no longer working hurt. In Meltzer's words, Penta is on the shelf because he is "sorting out a Visa" rather than because of an injury.

Penta's brother, Fenix, joined Moxley in chasing Omega, Anderson, and Gallows off to close this week's episode of Dynamite, setting them up for Beach Break nicely. There's no word on how Penta's visa issue could take to be resolved.
