WWE is loading next week's episode of NXT with main roster stars because - whisper it - AEW is running Dynamite that night.

While this was never truly in question, given the competitive nature of both companies, Fightful Select has confirmed as much. The outlet notes that WWE expects AEW to do much the same for what will be the first NXT vs. Dynamite head-to-head battle in a while.

This week's NXT saw WWE announce a glut of Raw and SmackDown stars for the broadcast, including 16-time World Champion John Cena, who will corner Carmelo Hayes in a match with rival Bron Breakker. Breakker will have Paul Heyman on his side.

Elsewhere, WWE's top babyface, Cody Rhodes, will break a "major announcement" on the show. Former NXT Women's Champion Asuka is to appear as well, facing Roxanne Perez.

AEW's special 'Title Tuesday' episode of Dynamite will feature Adam Copeland's in-ring debut vs. Luchasaurus. Two championship matches in Women's World Champion Saraya vs. Hikaru Shida and International Champion Rey Fenix vs. Jon Moxley are also on the lineup.
