Reason Behind Dana Brooke's Debut Revealed

Injuries may have forced the arrival of the Total Diva.

Long-time viewers of NXT were pleasantly surprised this past Monday during RAW when Dana Brooke of all people showed up. Not only that, but the Total Diva showed up alongside NXT compadre Emma, as the duo put the boots to Becky Lynch. The beatdown was topped off by the arrival on RAW of Brooke's signature head pat, the most devastating move in all of sports entertainment.

Brooke's debut was something of a surprise, but news coming out of Wrestling Observer Radio sheds some a little more light on her arrival. The WWE Women's division hasn't been immune from the terrible run of injuries that the company has faced, and two such names to be crocked recently are Naomi and Tamina, known collectively as Team B.A.D.

With Team B.A.D on the shelf a hole appeared on the villainous side of the alignment face, and a reprisal of Dana Brooke's alliance with Emma was deemed sufficient to fill it. If the two are allowed to dominate a little as they did on NXT then I would say that the hole will soon be a thing of the past.

Of course, the fact may be that Asuka kicked Dana Brooke so hard way back in October that Brooke thinks she is both members of Team B.A.D. Time will tell.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
