Sarah Logan has announced she is taking what sounds like an extended break from professional wrestling.

The former Riott Squad member posted the following to Instagram on Tuesday, stating that she has opted to pursue other ventures rather than continuing with the sport that has been her life since the age of 17:-

Logan was released alongside dozens of other WWE wrestlers as part of the promotion's Black Wednesday cuts on 15 April. She is currently bound by a non-compete clause that doesn't expire until 15 July, meaning she is technically still on the company's payroll for the next few weeks, though it was reported that WWE was considering bringing her back when they mentioned her name on Raw not long after the cuts. This didn't come to pass.

The YouTube channel that Logan mentions, The Wild and Free TV, documents her life with husband Erik of the Viking Raiders on their family farm. They started producing videos on 22 May and appear to have high hopes for it going forward.

Logan has also teased transitioning to MMA, having already started training in the discipline. It'll be interesting to see how that progresses.
