Released WWE Wrestler Set To Star In Upcoming Action Film
One of WWE's recently-released stars is about to become a Hollywood leading man.
Former WWE star Karrion Kross (who is now going under his old Killer Kross name once again) is set to star in an unnamed action film in 2022.
Fightful Select were the first to break the news, but the site's details are currently pretty thin - they didn't have word on who the director will be, exactly when the movie will start shooting or anything else. All they know is that Kross will be the leading man and that filming is earmarked to begin early next year.
This won't be a totally new experience for the former NXT Champion. Kross previously showed off his acting chops in TV series 'Before The Dark' back between 2013-2014. Now, rather soon, the ex-WWE man is about to add 'Hollywood leading man' to his resume.
Kross was surprisingly released by WWE on 4 November. Both he and his real-life fiancé Scarlett had their contracts terminated following Karrion's incredibly-dissatisfying stint on Raw. The pair had been standouts on NXT, but things never really got going for them beyond that.
Could this mysterious upcoming flick be Kross' ticket to further acting gigs?
