What did Renée think of Jon Moxley's pre-WWE and AEW death match collection?

Imagine being Renée Paquette. Imagine meeting a guy you like, going on some dates and then sitting down to watch a few of his old matches. Imagine that guy being Jon Moxley, and those matches being some seriously-bloody death matches from the old CZW days.

No wonder her first reaction was, "Who are you? What is happening?".

Renée told WrestleZone that she was left stunned by the violence that was happening on screen in front of her. She could scarcely believe that Moxley was showing this stuff to her, especially when he was the one being carved up in ultra-violent matches on the indy circuit.

Paquette met Jon when he was WWE's Dean Ambrose, so she wasn't really expecting his older work to be so grim. Her face must've been a picture when Mox popped in some old CZW DVDs and showed off his unbelievable pain tolerance.

The whole ordeal was "just pure insanity" to Renée.

Of course, Moxley has returned to his old ways since leaving WWE and joining AEW. Recently, he worked another bloody spectacle against Kenny Omega at Revolution, but Paquette is a little more used to his punishing style now.
