Renee Paquette admits she was her "own worst critic" when doing commentary on WWE Raw.

The ex-WWE full-timer (who will soon return to the air on Backstage) revealed what her husband Jon Moxley really thought of her announcing work during an interview on 'Insight' with Chris Van Vliet. According to Renee, Jon was rather definitive when he said the following.

"It was f*cking fine. Shut up".

That's certainly feedback, but Paquette noted that it was meant in a light-hearted and playful way. At the same time, Mox was keen to let his wife know that she was doing a grand job - he also probably wanted her to quit over-analysing every single minor detail after broadcasts.

Michael Cole's feedback was similar, if a little less-intense. He regularly told Renee that she was doing a good job. Tom Phillips would also text Paquette whilst Raw was on the air to check in on her and give tips on things to say.

All of that helped, but Renee wasn't the most confident on comms.

Jon's feedback, in particular, was so typically Moxley. In fact, it even kinda' reads like the start of a Mox promo on AEW TV.
