Report: Absent Knockout Still Under IMPACT Wrestling Contract
The one-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion hasn't appeared since September 2021.
Taylor Wilde is still signed to IMPACT Wrestling.
This comes via the former Knockouts World Champion herself on her Wilde On podcast, stating that, "I'm still under contract". Elaborating, Taylor explained the reasons for her prolonged absence from the Anthem-helmed promotion (h/t Fightful):-
“When COVID was at peak time, that’s when my divorce was at peak time. Long story short, not to get into too many details because I don’t need anything used against me in court, I’m good. I’m good to come back at any time. I’m ready now, but IMPACT’s got a lot of stuff going on. There’s a lot of new Knockouts."
Taylor Wilde initially returned to IMPACT Wrestling at April 2021's Rebellion pay-per-view, confronting then-Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo. She wrestled only a sprinkling of matches during her second stint, concluding when she defeated Tenille Dashwood at Victory Road last September.
PWInsider reported last November that Wilde was one of five names removed from the IMPACT roster page. Her removal was later verified by Taylor herself as being due to her taking a hiatus from the company for "personal reasons", and that she remains with IMPACT Wrestling.
It's unknown when, or indeed if, Taylor Wilde will resurface in the promotion. She did, however, return to wrestling for the Toronto-based Greektown Pro Wrestling organisation this past June.
