CM Punk may be done with professional wrestling completely, let alone All Elite Wrestling.

The 44-year-old is widely expected to be on his way out of AEW following his involvement in a post-All Out brawl with The Elite on 4 September. Now, sources close to Punk believe that the two-time AEW World Champion will never compete again.

Nick Hausman reported as much on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that Punk isn't short of money and currently has in-roads for potential work in Hollywood.

Punk's wrestling future was first brought into question after AEW's post-All Out press scrum, where an incendiary appearance saw him verbally attack 'Hangman' Adam Page, Colt Cabana, and the company's Executive Vice Presidents. Said EVPs (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) approached Punk in his locker room afterwards, when a fight broke out.

Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite were suspended indefinitely pending an investigation. Steel has since been released. The Bucks and Omega are believed to be on their way back to AEW television for the first time in two months, while Punk and the company are reportedly in negotiations over a potential contract buyout.
