Lacey Evans will be back on WWE television shortly, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

The former Raw and SmackDown Women's Championship contender will be in Worcester, MA for tomorrow's SmackDown tapings. Whether or not she will be used on the show is currently unclear.

Evans has been away from television since February 2021, when she took time off ahead of the birth of her second daughter. Lacey and husband Alfonso then welcomed their newborn to the world in October.

At the time of her departure, Evans was involved in a poorly-received romance storyline with Ric Flair. Designed, in kayfabe, to get under Charlotte Flair's skin, it featured Lacey's real pregnancy becoming part of the program, with Ric implied to be the dad. The pregnancy also meant Evans was unable to compete in a scheduled Raw Women's Championship match against Asuka at that year's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

Evans has been with WWE since April 2016, when she signed a developmental deal. The former US Marine moved to the main roster in January 2019, debuting through a storyline that saw her make several ring entrances without engaging with anybody until she was thrown into a feud with dual Raw/SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch after WrestleMania 35.
