Alex Shelley is done with IMPACT Wrestling.

Per Fightful Select, Shelley is no longer working for the Anthem-helmed promotion, though the relationship between Shelley and IMPACT is fine. The former X Division Champion noted how he was happy to do the programme with Chris Sabin against the North last summer, while also noting how great IMPACT is doing under the current regime of Scott D'Amore.

Alongside Sabin, Shelley returned to IMPACT at last year's Slammiversary pay-per-view, ending Ethan Page and Josh Alexander's record-breaking reign as World Tag Team Champions on the following IMPACT broadcast. His last appearance came on the Hard To Kill go-home show, brawling with his scheduled Hard To Kill opponents, Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers.

Shelley ultimately missed the match - he was replaced by Moose - after voluntarily taking time away until he was vaccinated due to his real-life work in the medical world.

The Motor City Machine Guns man has wrestled only two matches since returning, losing the Black Label Pro Midwest Title to Tom Lawlor, before defeating Jonathan Gresham to earn a future PWG World Title match. He's scheduled to compete in Major League Wrestling's Opera Cup, with his first-round opponent being IMPACT's TJP.
