Montez Ford is currently out of action for unknown reasons.

Speaking on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that "something is up" with the former WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion. There's currently no word on what, exactly, that "something" is, though it is the reason behind WWE's cancellation of The Street Profits' scheduled RK-Bro-Nament match on this week's Raw show.

Ford and partner Angelo Dawkins were due to face Rey and Dominik Mysterio before the bout's cancellation. That match has now been rescheduled for 27 December.

"I don't know if it's injury, illness, or whatever," said Meltzer, who expects to have more information on the situation soon. Regardless, Ford was unable to do the match.

WWE knew about the issue as early as Saturday, two days before Raw, with the match already announced. The promotion was late to confirm the bout was off.

Ford and Dawkins defeated AJ Styles and Omos to advance on the RK-Bro-Nament on last week's Raw, causing discontent between their defeated opponents. WWE's announcers mentioned that one of the Street Profits was injured this week, though they didn't specify which one.
