Report: Two Knockouts Depart IMPACT Wrestling, One Star Responds
The pair of knockouts last appeared on IMPACT's 31 December broadcast.
Per PWInsider, Kimber Lee and Brandi Lauren reportedly made their final appearance for IMPACT Wrestling at the tail-end of 2021, though Lee has since refuted the claims.
The report states that, on IMPACT's 31 December broadcast, the vignette of Lee and Lauren being seemingly incinerated by Su Yung acted as a means of the pair being written out of the company.
Almost immediately, however, Kimber Lee took to Twitter, quote-tweeting various users to confirm she is, in fact, still signed to the Anthem-helmed promotion. Wrote Lee in response to PWInsider:-
Ummmmmm no….. I’m still Signed. Nice try though ??♀️?? https://t.co/XfILyeoRyn

Debuting on the 12 May 2020 IMPACT episode vs. Havok, Kimber Lee signed a contract in August of that year, aligning with then-Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo and, ultimately, Susan. Her alliance with The Virtuosa lasted until the summer, with Lee then joining Susan - now back as Su Yung - and the recently-debuted Brandi Lauren as an Undead Bridesmaid. What, exactly, is next for her remains to be seen.
Lauren, meanwhile, debuted as an enhancement talent for Melina during IMPACT's August television tapings after being released from WWE in May, joining up with Yung and Lee shortly thereafter and entering the Knockouts Knockdown tournament. She'd lose to Mercedes Martinez in the opening round.
There's currently no word on whether she'll be remaining with IMPACT, though.
