Vince McMahon is reportedly a huge fan of NXT's Cal Bloom.

This news comes to us via a new report from WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis, who writes that several people within WWE, including Vince McMahon, believe that Bloom has what it takes to become a true WWE main-eventer in time.

One of Davis' sources said that "everyone is comparing him to a young Edge." While Bloom is "still rough around the edges, he has something, and Vince thinks he can be a big deal - but it will take some time."

Per the writeup, the WWE Chairman is particularly impressive by Bloom's size, look, and the way he moves around in the ring. Performance Center coaches have also passed on glowing reviews for the 6'5"/255lb former University of Central Florida football player who only signed with WWE back in March 2019.

Cal's father is former WWE wrestler Wayne Bloom, who previously wrestled as one half of the Beverly Brothers. His only televised appearance to date was a squash loss to Sheamus on the 10 April episode of SmackDown, though perhaps this will change now that he's in the Chairman's good graces.
