Report: Vince McMahon To "Push Keith Lee To The Moon" In WWE

Keith Lee is about to have the WWE rocket strapped to him.

This is according to a new report from talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy stating that Vince McMahon wants to push the Raw newcomer to the moon, with the WWE Chairman holding the belief that positioning him opposite 13-time World Champion Randy Orton was an ideal first step towards doing that.

Lee defeated 'The Legend Killer' in under seven minutes at Payback 2020 on Sunday. Prior to that, the duo had wrestled a no-contest in Keith's Raw debut. Their in-ring rivalry continued on last night's Raw, as both men won singles matches to advance to a WWE Championship contendership Triple Threat, with Orton scoring a pin on Seth Rollins after Lee had done the dirty work.

That finish keeps the rivalry bubbling away, though Orton new faces Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions 2020 (27 September).

McCarthy also reports that Randy currently "wants to help create that next generation of stars," having been told this by a source within the company, with Orton previously expressing a desire to work Adam Cole or Tommaso Ciampa at SummerSlam. It's safe to say that Lee was a more than appropriate NXT substitute.
