WWE is "extremely interested" in signing AEW's Wardlow, reports WrestleVotes.

Per the tweet, the market leaders currently want to try and lure the big man away from Tony Khan's company when his contract comes up - and multiple people within WWE "love" Wardlow's potential:-

With his biggest match to date happening later tonight, I can confirm, without hesitation, that WWE will be extremely interested in luring Wardlow away from AEW when his contract is due. There are several people within World Wrestling Entertainment that LOVE his potential.

Wardlow wrestles CM Punk on tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite. It is comfortably the most important match of his career so far and serves not only as part of MJF's ongoing feud with Punk, but also Wardlow's slow-burning split from his paymaster.

Signed to AEW in the company's first year of operations, 2019, Wardlow initially featured in a vignette hyping his imminent arrival that aired during August's All Out pay-per-view. He then debuted as MJF's bodyguard on the 13 November episode of Dynamite, staying with him ever since, though recent months have brought increased teases of tension between the two.

There is currently no word on when, exactly, Wardlow's AEW contract expires, though a number of the talent deals initially signed in 2019 are believed to expire later this year.
