Report: WWE Has HUGE Long-Term Plans For 2 Raw Stars
Expect big things from these guys going forward.
Raw duo Angel Garza and Andrade have reportedly been earmarked for long-term success in WWE.
This is according to Dave Meltzer, who claimed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has significant plans for the duo, who are currently aligned under Zelina Vega's management. This could mean a run with the Raw Tag Team Championships, as was hinted when Garza and Andrade attacked champions The Street Profits on this week's episode of Raw.
It's possible that Garza and Andrade could act as Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford's challengers at Extreme Rules 2020 on 19 July. The Street Profits have just concluded a feud with The Viking Raiders, whom they conclusively defeated on Raw.
In addition, Meltzer stated that Garza may be held in slightly higher esteem than his partner at the moment. This comes following news that Vince McMahon sees the up-and-comer as a young Eddie Guerrero.
Recent weeks had seen Garza and Andrade teasing tension following the expulsion of Austin Theory from Vega's stable. This appears to be behind them for now, with the group presenting a united front on Raw and, presumably, going forward as well.
