People within WWE are moving to have the Money in the Bank briefcase torn from Otis' clutches, though one man currently stands in their way: Vince McMahon.

This is according to a new report from WrestleVotes:-

Winning the Money in the Bank briefcase after capturing Mandy Rose's heart at WrestleMania 36 took Otis to a new level of prominence in WWE. He was a controversial winner on 10 May and has suffered from inactivity since then, regularly going missing from SmackDown. Recent events have seen him embroiled in a war with The Miz and John Morrison, who stole his briefcase on 11 September and even organised for Rose to be traded to Raw, though the Heavy Machinery man has since regained his MITB contract.

Mandy, however, remains on Raw. Poor Otis.

Otis has been reported as a Vince McMahon favourite on multiple occasions since he was brought to the main roster in January 2019. It's easy to see why, given his low comedic stylings, though Otis and Heavy Machinery partner Tucker have an almost cult following on SmackDown.

This week's draft could conceivably see them end up on separate brands, however.
