RETRIBUTION's Reckoning Targets Asuka After WWE Raw
Asuka's next Raw Women's Title feud revealed?
WWE Raw Women's Champion Asuka may have just found her next title challenger, with RETRIBUTION's Reckoning seemingly targeting 'The Empress of Tomorrow' after the show.
Speaking on a video uploaded to WWE's social media channels, Reckoning spoke after RETRIBUTION's leader, Mustafa Ali, promising to "decontaminate every aspect of this industry, including the women's division."
The former Mia Yim claimed the scene had been "reigned on by some dancing clown for far too long." She signed off by referring to Asuka by name, before Ali wrapped it up, saying "no sin is forgiven until it's punished" and that RETRIBUTION's work had only just begun.
Raw itself saw RETRIBUTION beat down Tucker and Ricochet after a short match between the two, with Ali criticising the latter for being "obsessed with admiration" in the same promo as Reckoning's Asuka spiel.
Reckoning has never faced Asuka in any professional wrestling organisation. Through she had been in the NXT system since 2018 prior to her main roster call-up, there was no crossover with 'The Empress of Tomorrow', who had already departed for the main roster by the time Reckoning, competing under her real name, had arrived.
