Rey and Dominik Mysterio returned from kayfabe injuries to help Edge fend off Roman Reigns and The Usos on Friday's episode of SmackDown.

WWE's first ever father and son Tag-Team Champions blasted Jey and Jimmy Uso with steel chairs just as it looked like the 'Rated-R Superstar' might be on the receiving end of a gang-style beatdown from Roman and his cousins.

You know what's coming next: WWE will surely promote a six-man tag match pitting Edge, Rey and Dominik vs. Reigns, Jimmy and Jey on next week's show. Alternatively, the company might want to wait until live crowds are back around ringside to pull the trigger on that one.

Next week's SmackDown is the 'go home' before Money In The Bank though, so watch this space.

Both Rey and Dominik were previously dismantled by Reigns. That explained their absence for a few weeks, and why they were booked to help out Edge here. The Mysterio clan vs. The Usos would also make sense on the upcoming 18 July pay-per-view - that's assuming WWE don't punish Jimmy for his recent run in with the law by leaving him off the show.
