After spending a few weeks on the shelf, Alexa Bliss and Asuka returned to WWE Raw this Monday night to back up Bianca Belair - and they left the show about 10 pounds heavier.

The duo assisted the Raw Women's Champion in repelling Damage CTRL, then laid down the challenge to Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky for their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, which they captured in the show's main event.

Damage CTRL knocked both women out of action a few weeks back, leaving Belair to fend for herself (after Candice LeRae also was taken out) against the trio. Bliss & Asuka's return evened things up and set the table for the title match. During the bout, the champs tried to fend off the challengers' advances, but once Bayley was out of commission (hitting a Bayley-to-Belly on Bianca through a table stack at ringside), they lost their momentum and quickly fell.

The win ends Damage CTRL's reign at 49 days and opens the question about the stable's future. Bayley is challenging Belair for the Raw women's title at Crown Jewel in a Last Woman Standing match. If she's unsuccessful again, that could leave the group listless with an unclear direction. If she wins, then their attention would likely turn to protecting Bayley's title and trying to regain the tag titles.
