The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode weren't the only Raw wrestlers on NXT last night.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio made surprise appearances on last night's episode of NXT 2.0, continuing WWE's recent theme of shuttling Raw wrestlers down to its developmental brand.

First seen in a backstage segment with Legado Del Fantasma, the father/son duo got into it with the heel unit, leading to Dominik challenging any of the group's members to a match later on. Raul Mendoza ended up taking Dominik up on that offer, losing to the 24-year-old later in the night.

Heavy on interference, the bout concluded with Dominik hitting a 619 then a Frog Splash on Mendoza for the victory, following a ringside blow-up involving Elektra Lopez, Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, and Joaquin Wilde.

This was the first time Dominik has ever wrestled on NXT, having been brought straight onto WWE's main roster following his transition from secondary character to full-time wrestler in 2020.

Also on the show were The Mysterios' fellow Raw wrestlers The Miz, Robert Roode, and Dolph Ziggler, who became NXT Champion by winning a Triple Threat featuring Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa last week. Ziggler defended the belt against LA Knight later on, then accepted Breakker's challenge for a title fight at Stand & Deliver on 2 April.
