Rey Fenix has been cleared to compete and will be ready to go for AEW's Double Or Nothing 2020 pay-per-view this Saturday (23 May).

This is according to a new report from the Wrestling Observer, who state that the Death Triangle member will be able to participate in the event's Casino Ladder Match after suffering an injury scare on this week's Dynamite.

Fenix defeated Orange Cassidy in a well-received, high-flying bout at the top of the show's second hour, before a huge brawl between multiple competitors broke out. A big spot saw Rey leap from the ring and attempt to dive on the gathered group of wrestlers but he either undershot his leap or the intended catchers were out of position, so only his legs made contact with the workers.

The rest of the Lucha Brother's body hit the deck hard, back-first, spreading injury fears, though he was able to walk away of his own volition.

Fenix will compete with Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian, Colt Cabana, Luchasaurus, Cassidy, Kip Sabian, Darby Allin and a mystery entrant for the right to an AEW World Title match this weekend, and must be considered amongst the favourites.
