Rey Mysterio is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

As revealed during last night's Friday Night SmackDown, the legendary luchador will finally be inducted in this year's 2023 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. But with Rey-Rey currently embroiled in an intense rivalry with his own son, it was only a matter of time before Ex-Con Dom decided to rain on Mysterio's Hall of Fame parade.

With the multiple-time World Champion taking to the ring to talk about the prestigious honour, The Judgment Day soon arrived before Legado del Fantasma showed up to defend the iconic little man. After a six-person battle, Dominik would once again attempt to get his father to strike him, only for Rey to refuse and dodge an incoming attack from his own flesh and blood.

A WrestleMania 39 battle between the two family members feels inevitable at this point. Which likely means the chances of Dom inducting his papi into the Hall of Fame are somewhat slim.

It remains to be seen who will join Mysterio in this year's HOF class, too, with the likes of Batista, The Great Muta, and William Regal being just a few names rumoured to be in line for an induction at this year's event.
