Ripley and Matthews went public with their relationship in May 2022. The couple currently span different wrestling promotions, with Matthews an AEW star since last February, having signed with the Tony Khan-helmed promotion eight months after being released by WWE.

Buddy and House of Black stablemates Malakai Black and Brody King are set to defend their AEW Trios World Championships against CM Punk and FTR on Saturday's episode of Collision.

Ripley, meanwhile, is the reigning WWE Women's Champion, and one of the most popular acts in the market-leading promotion as a member of the Judgment Day. Her onscreen partnership with Dominik Mysterio has proven particularly successful for the group, who are an important fixture on Monday Night Raw.
