Rhea Ripley's time in NXT appears to be coming to an end.

Per a new report from PWInsider, Ripley's Last Woman Standing loss to Raquel Gonzalez was intended to be her last appearance for WWE's black and gold brand. If so, it was an entirely appropriate way for 'The Nightmare' to go out, as she was driven through part of the stage to close a brutal, plunder-filled brawl incorporating handcuffs, broken glass, steel chairs, and other implements of destruction.

There's currently no word on when, exactly, Ripley will head to Raw or SmackDown. Still, she is on her way out of the Capitol Wrestling Center.

This news comes less than 24 hours after Damian Priest's "imminent" main roster call-up, meaning Raw and SmackDown viewers could soon be blessed by two of NXT's finest.

Signed to WWE since 2018, Ripley was initially assigned to NXT UK, becoming the brand's inaugural Women's Champion before dropping it to Toni Storm in January 2019. The Australian transition to NXT's American imprint later that year. Defeating Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship in December, she reigned until WrestleMania 36, when she was defeated by Charlotte Flair.
