Could Bray Wyatt claim his first championship in WWE?
A pair of challengers has been named for Smackdown Tag Team Champions Rhyno and Heath Slater - Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton, who were the last men standing in the 5-on-5 Raw vs. Smackdown match at the Survivor Series.
Last week's episode of Smackdown hosted a tag team turmoil match designed to name number one contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. As per the rules of the gauntlet-style match, two teams started out and, when one was eliminated, another would enter the fray. The bout seemed to come down to American Alpha and The Usos, and the former NXT Tag Team Champions scored the victory, but they were met with a surprise - The Wyatt Family laid out a challenge for the title shot via a Titantron video.
This week, the contest between the two teams headlined Smackdown, and while American Alpha managed to put up a fight, they ultimately fell to the new Wyatt Family. Interference from Luke Harper cut off Jason Jordan in the middle of a flurry of offense, and the star soon fell to Sister Abigail.
TLC airs live on the WWE Network this Sunday at 8:00 PM ET.
