Prior to the start of Raw on Monday, WWE.com announced a Cruiserweight Championship match for the upcoming Roadblock: End of the Line show. In a triple threat bout, champion Rich Swann will defend his title against former champs TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick.

Swann defeated Kendrick to win the title in a bout on the first episode of 205 Live, complicating the program between Perkins and Kendrick. The latter two men had been feuding for months, ever since Kendrick qualified for number one contendership to inaugural Cruiserweight Champion Perkins. Though Perkins won the first showdown with Kendrick, the veteran remained a thorn in the champ's side. In a rematch at Hell in a Cell, Kendrick faked a knee injury, then submitted Perkins with the Captain's Hook to claim the belt.

Following Swann's win, Kendrick got his rematch on last week's episode of 205 Live. That bout saw Swann accidentally knock Kendrick into Perkins, who was at ringside, then score the win with a kick. After the match, Perkins threw a kick at Kendrick, but Kendrick ducked and TJP took out Swann.
