With many wrestling fans regularly pondering how better utilised Ricochet would be outside of WWE, recent rumours have suggested that the One and Only may be exiting WWE later this year.

Taking to Twitter, the former WWE United States Champion and NXT North American Champion has commented on this speculation - shooting down a story that his WWE departure is imminent.

Ricochet’s comments were in relation to a Ringside News report that claimed the ridiculously talented star was likely to be a free agent in merely a matter of days.

Following up their on initial story, Ringside backtracked and explained how they’d misunderstood the source of their report – audio from the Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez – and instead it was Riddle who had yet to sign a recently-offered WWE contract extension, not Ricochet.

Ricochet was last in action on the 4 January edition of WWE Main Event, scoring a win over Drew Gulack. In recent weeks and months, he's been involved in a storyline with RETRIBUTION - with Mustafa Ali and his group desperately trying to persuade the high-flyer to join their ranks.
