Ricochet Getting WWE 365 Special

He's certainly had a...year.

WWE Network's official Twitter account announced shortly before Raw went on the air that Ricochet is next in line for a 365 special.

The tweet said, "An incredible year for @KingRicochet takes center stage THIS SUNDAY on an all-new #WWE365!".

Those are...bold words.

Ricochet's 2019-2020 has been inconsistent at best. A promising singles run on Raw was squashed flat amidst reports that Vince McMahon had lost faith in his abilities to fill a starring role on Monday nights. Then, after being soundly thumped by Brock Lesnar in mere minutes at February's Super ShowDown (in a WWE Title bout that only existed to prepare Lesnar for Drew McIntyre come WrestleMania 36), the high-flyer formed a tag-team with fellow straggler Cedric Alexander.

That duo hasn't exactly been given much focus either, so it's pretty difficult to ascertain exactly what Ricochet's doc will focus on. It's doubtful they'll acknowledge WWE's decision to pull the rug from beneath his feet, but what else is there to really talk about?

If this documentary only exists to hype up that Saudi Arabian squash as special, then it'll be panned by fans who really had higher hopes for Ricochet on WWE's main roster.
