Ricochet wouldn't be averse to returning to WWE NXT if the situation called for it.

Speaking to Julie Wright for Good Morning Washington on Monday, 'WWE's Resident Superhero' was asked specifically about following in Charlotte Flair and Finn Balor's footsteps in mounting a black-and-gold comeback. He said the following on the matter (h/t WrestlingNews.co):-

“For sure, that’s a place that I would like to always call a home for me. It’s a place that I enjoyed thoroughly while I was being there. Now that they have more exposure, every Wednesday on the USA network I think that’s huge too. So yeah, for sure. Anytime they need a hand for sure I will be there, no problem.”

Ricochet was an NXT standout for the duration of his run, wowing crowds with his state-of-the-art hyper-athleticism in acclaimed bouts with the likes of Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, and Velveteen Dream. Through no fault of his own, he, like many others before him, has found it hard to replicate this form on the main roster.

Recent weeks have been dismal for Ricochet, who was squashed by Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia before Riddick Moss defeated him on Raw a few nights later.
