Ridge Holland's Nightmare WWE Release Keeps Getting Worse (WWE News)

WWE has terminated Ridge Holland's contract early.

The WWE exit of Ridge Holland has taken another unfortunate turn for the British powerhouse.

Previously, Holland took to social media in October to reveal that WWE would not be renewing his contract when it was up in November. However, the company would be covering his medical costs as Ridge continues to recover from a broken foot suffered in a TNA match against Moose.

The real-life Luke Menzies made another X post earlier this week, stating how WWE was doing the "bare minimum after what we sacrifice for the company", that he feels like he's been "hung out to dry" in this "brutal" situation, and how "I never thought I'd not be able to pay my mortgage".

In a further development, Fightful Select reports that WWE has now moved to terminate Ridge Holland's WWE deal early. That deal was due to be up mid-November, but WWE considers the former Brawling Brute's recent comments to be a breach of contract. While it wasn't outright confirmed to the outlet, it was suggested to Fightful that Ridge would not be getting paid for the time that was left on his deal.

At the time that he announced he'd be leaving WWE, Ridge still had a seven-month road to recovery ahead of him for that broken foot. To make matters worse, he wasn't paid any extra for wrestling in TNA, and it was also revealed that Holland had taken a $200,000 paycut when he signed his most recent WWE deal back in November 2024. The star has also openly talked about how there's a chance he may require neck fusion surgery at some point, too.
