Ring Of Honor Reveals 2022 Return Date

ROH bosses know exactly when they want to end the promotion's hiatus in 2022.

Ring Of Honor has reportedly circled 1 April 2022 as a return date.

PWInsider broke the news on this - the site said that ROH chiefs are targeting this date for the next Supercard Of Honor show. They also noted that this would fall on the Friday before WWE's WrestleMania 38 card, which is probably deliberate.

Why not relaunch when casual fandom and excitement about pro wrestling is at a fever pitch? That's smart business, and it appears Ring Of Honor know that. They'll want to capitalise on the buzz surrounding 'Mania in Arlington, Texas.

Supercard Of Honor will presumably take place in Dallas, although there's no word yet on a concrete venue for the show; PWInsider did report, however, that a building had been picked and "secured" before the company announced they were going on hiatus.

ROH released practically its entire roster in December 2021 and decided to temporarily close doors. April 2022 had been mooted as a possible return date, and it seems Honor bosses don't want to hang around.

Again, it'd be clever to tie in with WWE's biggest weekend of 2022 and relaunch in Dallas.
