Last week's IMPACT episode seems to have been the pair's final appearance... for now.

It looks as if Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes are done with IMPACT Wrestling - at least for now.

Via PWInsider, RVD and Forbes have departed IMPACT after last week’s TV seemingly brought a close to Van Dam’s recent feud with Sami Callihan.

Van Dam is said to have been working on a number of short-term deals over the last few months, and it’s believed that the door is well and truly open for the multiple-time World Champion and Forbes to return to IMPACT at some point in the future.

For those who missed it, Van Dam defeated Callihan with a roll-up on last week’s IMPACT show following interference from Katie Forbes and a can of hairspray. That meant that Forbes was allowed five minutes alone with Callihan… although things quickly went sour when Sami turned the tables and ended up laying Forbes out with a piledriver.

Across his two spells with IMPACT, RVD has won the World Heavyweight Championship once and also had a stint as the X Division Champion – in addition, amongst other honours, to winning the WWE Championship, ECW World Heavyweight Championship, six runs as Intercontinental Champion, and his iconic run as the ECW World Television Champion.
