On the recent edition of ROH's Eck's Files, creative team member Kevin Eck has teased that some former WWE stars could appear at the company's Death Before Dishonor PPV next month.

This tease suggested that talents released by "another organisation" may turn up at ROH's big PPV. Given the sheer number of WWE releases in recent months, that throws up a huge amount of possibilities.

In addition to the Eck's Files, ROH also recently took to Twitter to ask which of the most recently released WWE stars fans would like to see compete for the promotion. Where those fans are concerned, the most popular pick by far right now is Bobby Fish - with some love likewise being shown for Buddy Murphy, Jake Atlas, Bronson Reed and Leon Ruff as other notable suggestions.

Ring of Honor's Death Before Dishonor event takes place on Sunday 12 September from Philadelphia's iconic 2300 Arena, aka the ECW Arena. The PPV was previously set for Florida but has since been moved due to a surge in COVID figures.

At present, the Death Before Dishonor card has Bandido or Flip Gordon vs. Matt Taven or Vincent for the ROH World Championship, Jonathan Gresham or Rhett Titus vs. Josh Woods for the ROH Pure Championship, and the tournament final to crown the inaugural ROH Women's Champion.
