Roman Reigns Has Emergency Surgery - Misses WWE Night Of Champions
Reigns rushed to hospital in Nashville for surgery on an incarcerated hernia.
According to WWE.com, Roman Reigns (real name Leati Joseph Anoai) was rushed to a hospital in Nashville, TN on Saturday morning due to intense discomfort. This was at the recommendation of WWE doctor Chris Amann. Once Reigns arrived at the hospital, he was diagnosed with an incarcerated hernia. Surgery was performed on Reigns immediately in order to remedy the situation. Reigns is expected to miss between one and two months of WWE action while recovering from the surgery. Obviously, his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Night Of Champions has been cancelled and postponed for the time being. There has been speculation that Dean Ambrose could be brought in for Night Of Champions to replace Reigns and rekindle his feud with Rollins on the show. At this point, nothing has been confirmed. Ambrose has been advertised locally in Memphis, TN to make his return to WWE television at Monday's WWE RAW tapings. It would see that it would be just as easy to have him return one day early and replace the injured Reigns at Night Of Champions. WhatCulture.com will have more on this situation as it develops.
