In an outcome that surprised absolutely nobody, Roman Reigns pinned Braun Strowman to win last night's men's Elimination Chamber match, officially stamping his ticket for WrestleMania 34.

In defeating Braun, 'The Guy' slayed a monster that completely dominated the bout from the moment he entered. Strowman eliminated every other participant, and at one point, took each wrestler's finisher (aside from Elias') to create a memorable series of kickouts. He was the Chamber's star, yet he finished as runner-up.

Braun was quick to get his heat back, though: 'The Monster Among Men' assaulted Reigns after the bell, downing him with a Powerslam, before throwing him through the side of a pod.

Reigns will now challenge for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. He was a heavy favourite heading into the Chamber, and the outcome confirms a booking first leaked by the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer last spring.

Though this predictability may have spoiled the bout for some, the action was strong throughout, with Strowman looking particularly strong. Still, hordes of fans around the world will no doubt be dismayed by this telegraphed outcome, despite Braun's presentation.
