This week's WWE SmackDown saw Roman Reigns edge closer to figuring out who is behind the recent attempts on his life, with a mystery forklift-driving assailant toppling scaffolding on him during last week's show, before somebody attempted to run him down in the parking lot on Raw.

His investigation took him to Buddy Murphy, who was pictured at the first scene of the crime. It took some coercion (and a punch or two), but Roman eventually convinced the former 205 Live kingpin into revealing he'd seen Rowan hanging around, though there was no sign of Daniel Bryan.

Per WrestleVotes, this could lead to a match between Roman and Buddy at SummerSlam this Sunday:-

As always, take a pinch of salt with this, particularly as Reigns has already been linked to a singles match with Bryan and a tag bout pitting him and Samoa Joe vs. Bryan and Rowan.

It's hard to imagine many people complaining about Murphy vs. Reigns if it happens, though. 'The Big Dog' is in excellent form at the moment and WWE's 'Best Kept Secret' was one of the company's most consistent wrestlers before joining SmackDown, where he barely makes television.
