Ronda Rousey Pitches Feud With THIS WWE Raw Star
SmackDown's Ronda Rousey doesn't think WWE would let her poach this wrestler from Raw.
Ronda Rousey would love to see Asuka get drafted from Raw to SmackDown so she can work an extended program with her on Friday nights.
The current SmackDown Women's Champion singled out Asuka for praise during one of her recent Twitch/YouTube streams. According to Ronda though, there's next-to-no-chance that Triple H or WWE management generally would let her "steal" the Japanese veteran from the flagship right now.
She can but dream.
Rousey spoke about how Asuka has formed an on/off faction with Raw Women's Champ Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss on Mondays - it wouldn't be hard for WWE to bench that if they fancied booking Asuka on SmackDown, but Ronda doesn't think it's going to happen.
Most fans will agree with Rousey's assessment, at least. She said matches between Asuka and herself would be "great", and it's hard to argue with that. In fact, Asuka might be the kind of babyface who'd bring the best out in reborn heel Ronda over on FOX.
Rousey beat ex-champion Liv Morgan to bag the SmackDown Women's Title at Extreme Rules, and it's clear she needs some fresh opponents to work with soon.
